Our Aims:

· to provide a warm, homely, friendly atmosphere that is both caring and conducive to development for people with a learning disability, within a residential setting.

· to care for you, your relative or friend in the manner that you would want to be cared for.

· to actively consult residents and enable them to manage their own lives as much as possible

· to facilitate the maintenance of residents dignity, rights, independence and self esteem.

 

Our Objectives:

· To provide a stimulating environment and opportunities for our residents to pursue chosen interests and activities.

· Create, develop and maintain an individual care plan for each resident.

· Provide a nominated key worker to support each resident.

· Ensure residents physical and mental well being by liaising with medical and other services.

· Encourage residents to make choices about their life.

· To listen to our residents, their friends, relatives and advocates to ensure we are meeting their needs.

· Encourage residents to help within the home and garden on a voluntary basis.

· To respect residents rights, privacy, dignity and individuality at all times.

· To meet all regulatory requirements in the management and provision of residential care.
